Computer science is the most rapidly advancing discipline of the 21st century. Computers have become part of every human activity and this trend is only about to become more pronounced in the following decades. Computers help us to organize our lives, businesses and industries more efficient. This global cultural change presents an inspiring field for young adults who are able to creatively handle computers and computer programs. Computer science not only is a career choice that offers high salaries, opportunities to travel or work in different countries, it also offers a lifetime of small challenges that give way to a satisfying happy life.

Joint Degree Options

The following table contains the joint degree options that our students can take. The students may sign up for one of the programs in the 3rd semester of their studies or choose to finish their studies in Indonesia. UMB is currently in the process of finalizing further joint-degree option agreements with our partners from Europe, USA and Australia. The additional joint-degree options will be available in the academic year of 2018/2019.



The Computer Science degree program will teach you the fundamental of programming, data structure design, data communication, programming language design, software engineering, algorithm analysis and design, operating systems, computer graphics, and database systems. The Computer Science curriculum of Universitas Mercu Buana International Class is set up to give the students the most up to date skills and knowledge. This is of utmost importance considering that computer science evolves so rapidly that even practicing professionals need to continuously update their knowledge not to become outdated.

The lecturers of UMB International all have extensive hands-on industry experience but believe that their skills need to be passed on to the next generation to help Indonesia to a better future with more highly skilled young computer scientists who are able to work together or compete with their counterparts from even the most developed countries.
